The Taoglas Antenna Integrator has been significantly upgraded – introducing new antenna options and deeper performance data to support more precise and efficient design.
Now Featuring UWB Antennas
Five new antennas have been added to the tool’s library, including two Ultra-Wideband (UWB) models – the first time UWB technology is supported in the tool. Ideal for high-accuracy, low-power applications like tracking, and short-range wireless communication, UWB adds a valuable new dimension to the platform:
- UWA.01 – Compact chip antenna (3.2×1.6×0.5 mm) covering UWB channels 5–12, suitable for space-constrained designs.
- UWCCP.01 – Circularly polarized UWB antenna with excellent performance in channel 5 on compact PCBs (12.7×16.4 mm).
- GGBLA.01.A – Miniature GNSS L1 chip antenna with strong performance in tight spaces.
- GVLB258.A – Stacked patch antenna for L1 and L5 GNSS bands in a compact 25×25×8 mm footprint.
- PCS.06.A – High-efficiency LTE SMD antenna, optimized for reduced ground plane lengths
Improved Reports for Smarter Design
Engineers can now access more detailed reports, with:
- Peak Gain vs Frequency charts – for assessing directionality across operating bands.
- 2D and 3D Radiation Patterns – to visualise coverage and improve integration accuracy.
These enhancements make it easier than ever to evaluate antenna performance and identify the right solution for your design.
