SAN DIEGO – December 13, 2023 – Taoglas, a trusted provider of antennas and IoT components that help solve complex engineering problems is proud to announce that its Taoglas Invisible Antenna™ has been named a finalist in the Fierce Innovation Awards — Telecom Edition program in the IoT category. The awards program is peer-reviewed and hosted by Fierce Telecom and Fierce Wireless. It recognizes the creators, makers, and doers of outstanding services and equipment unveiled over the past 12 months.
The awards promote the competitive spirit and initiative to spark new design, development and distribution of inventive solutions; find revolutionary tech or services; and acknowledge and honour the most visionary operators, service providers, and vendors for their commitment to next-gen business and consumer offerings.
New technologies, by definition, open the doors for innovations, and we’ve seen this from semiconductors to software to social media. In the IoT space, we are used to clunky antennas that ‘stick out,’ but the Taoglas Invisible Antenna is a game changer. Made from advanced carbon nanotube (CNT) and CNT hybrid materials, which are also environmentally friendly, the series includes three new invisible antennas supporting GNSS, Wi-Fi and Cellular technologies. With a simple “peel and stick” mounting to any nonmetal surface such as plastic, glass, and screens, the paper-thin, ultra-lightweight TFX series offers a clear alternative to standard opaque antennas for use in mobility, public infrastructure, medical devices, transportation, emerging IoT applications and any application where covert connectivity is desirable.
